Venture Richmond’s downtown event calendar highlights public events that bring energy and activity to Downtown Richmond. From festivals and performances to community gatherings and cultural celebrations, our goal is to showcase what makes downtown vibrant and engaging for residents, workers, and visitors alike. If you’re looking to promote an event in Richmond, VA, our calendar is the perfect place to reach your audience.
If you’re planning an event downtown, we encourage you to submit it for inclusion on our website. Please note that submitted events must meet certain criteria to be approved.
Criteria for inclusion
- ONLY events taking place in Venture Richmond’s Downtown Service District will be accepted.
- The event must be open to the public.
- Images are important! Please upload a good quality, high resolution photo at least 1000 X 1000px.
- Note: By submitting images to our calendar, you acknowledge you have the rights to use the images and convey that right to Venture Richmond. Please do not submit logos and/or promotional posters as an image for your event. These are not consistent with the native content design of our website and will not be accepted.
- The use of ALL CAPITAL, bold, oversized or otherwise non-standard lettering for event titles and/or text is not permitted.
- Non-leisure events, including but not limited to meetings, conventions, auctions, clinics, fundraisers, etc., will not be included.
- Venture Richmond may feature certain events using editorial discretion.
- Venture Richmond reserves the right to decline any event that conflicts with our mission or values.
Please submit your event details at least three weeks prior to the event.
