From Friday, October 31 – Sunday, November 2, special 20-minute tours leave every half hour (on the hour and half hour) from 5:00-9:00 p.m., with the last boat departing at 8:30 p.m.
This year’s tours plunge passengers into a chilling adventure to investigate reported strange and monstrous occurrences along Richmond’s riverfront. Passengers will be deputized by our brave boat captains to find a mysterious monster that has been plaguing Richmond’s riverfront. Guests will venture downstream on the historic James River and Kanawha Canal and witness the spooky décor and chilling surprises as they face the aquatic peril that lurks just below the surface. We hope that with your help the monster will be kept at bay. Do you dare venture forth into dark waters guided only by dim lamplight?
Little ghouls and ghosts in attendance will receive a special candy treat. This Eerie Canal Tour is best suited for kids aged 7 and over.
