2026 Annual Downtown Update and 2025 Annual Report

A brief overview of Venture Richmond’s accomplishments in events, marketing, public space management and economic development for the 2025 year.

On Friday, April 24, Venture Richmond hosted a remarkable group of Downtown stakeholders for our Annual Downtown Update. Our Boards of Directors and Trustees were among those in attendance, as were representatives from Downtown's thriving residential, business, and non-profit communities, city and regional leaders, and elected officials. We were also joined by many of our past board chairs as we celebrated our 20th Anniversary.

Venture Richmond President and CEO Lisa Sims sat down with Richmond Mayor Danny Avula to discuss his plans for the City and Downtown. We also introduced an informative video highlighting Downtown development and our 2025 Annual Report, and hope you’ll take a moment to review them both.
