The Broad Walk with Race Capitol

What are Richmond's true monuments? Moving on foot from Jackson Ward to Shockoe Bottom, we will talk about the policy decisions behind the monumental infrastructure we see along the way. After a ride back on the GRTC Pulse, we will end back in the Arts District for debriefing and reflection.

This walking tour is curated and led by Chelsea Higgs-Wise of Race Capitol, community facilitator and activist-in-residence at The Broad.

Wear comfortable shoes, the walk is mostly flat with some downhill sections. A light drizzle will not get in our way but extreme weather will move us to our backup rain date of Saturday, August 10th.

This walking tour is open to the public and costs $10 for Broads and $20 for non-members. Proceeds will benefit Marijuana Justice Virginia.
