Since opening in 2018, the Institute for Contemporary Art at VCU has pioneered innovative programs, opened groundbreaking exhibitions, established valuable community resources, commissioned works from diverse artists, and so much more. Join the institute in celebration of these accomplishments, and those to come.
Expect a night of performances, artist talks, the final iteration of MURRMUR, as well as new works from Tricky Walsh and Sharon Mashihi. Internationally acclaimed architect Steven Holl, designer of the ICA’s LEED-Gold certified building, will also be making remarks at the event.
