The Indian subcontinent is home to the oldest civilizations on Earth, but recently India has also raced ahead to become a global super power. India's arts and culture are a mix of the ancient and modern. Many groups have ruled over India from ancient warring tribes to the British Colonization, but India has retained its culture and merged foreign concepts into its own world, creating unique contributions to life by every generation.
