First Fridays are BACK!

Make sure to show your support to our Richmond Arts District by visiting Broad Street tonight for a beautiful night of small business shopping, arts and culture and an array of programming and activities like:

• Gallery5 at 200 W. Marshall Street from 5-11PM with music from Classical Revolution RVA, Sweet Potatoes Music and Ben Butterworth starting at 7PM and their newest exhibit “FOOD” with work by Bizhan Khodabandeh, Katie McBride, Noah Scalin and more (a portion of their drink special “We’re all MAD here” will benefit MAD RVA)
• Quirk Gallery at 207 W. Broad Street from 5-8PM featuring works from Brad Birchett’s show “Ritual Function” in the Main Gallery
• 1708 Gallery at 319 W. Broad Street from 1-9PM featuring “OPEN OFFICE.2” a collective project designed by Ashley Moody, Umber Majeed’s “Trans-Pakistan Zindabad (Facts about the Earth)” solo project on exhibit and a Monster Drawing Rally Artwork Giveaway
• ICA at VCU at 601 W. Broad Street from 5-6:30PM at the ICA Shop there will be experiential lectures from Exodus: School of Expression, at 6PM, 7PM and 8PM the ICA Visitor Experience Team will lead guided exhibition tours and galleries and refreshments are available until 9PM
• 68home at 5 W. Broad Street from 6-9PM with Kevin Sabo pop-up
• Art180 at 114 W. Marshall Street from 6-9PM featuring the Edward Dean Robinson Artist Residency Exhibition and Open Studio with DJ Mike Kemetic
• Black Iris Gallery at 321 W. Broad Street from 5-9PM featuring “Fight or Flight,” a solo exhibition of paintings by Nils Westergard
• Chilalay at 212 W. Broad Street from 7-10PM featuring sounds by ERTHTONE, a new art showcase by FunkyB, a new Chilalay shirt release and more surprises with a First Friday After Party at SWITCH (13 W. Broad Street) from 10PM-2AM
• ada Gallery at 228 W. Broad Street from 6-9PM featuring works from Jerstin Crosby’s upcoming exhibition, “Exit Skeleton”
• Copeland Studio at 16 W. Broad Street features an open studio at 6PM with pre-screening music from Solitary Confinement and a First Friday Screening of Babylon (1980) at 8:30PM
• The Collective at 318 W. Broad Street for a First Friday pop-up at 7PM featuring performances by OG Illa, Rah Scrilla, Duct Tape Jesus and more
• Visual Art Studio at 208 W. Broad Street from 6-9PM featuring works from Shaina Cilimberg and live music from Aurika
• Gallery 17 at The Mezzo Lofts from 6-8:30PM featuring Alan Condrey, Jill Ward and R Kaelber in the August Exhibit
