Join Central Virginia Trailblazers for our annual "tacky lights" walk through downtown Richmond! Get in the holiday spirit with Central Virginia Trailblazers! For 8 years running, CVT has hosted a free "tacky lights" walking tour of downtown RVA, beginning and ending in Carytown.

Highlights of the tour include the Jefferson Hotel lobby, the James Center, the State Capital, and Monument Avenue. With a total distance of around 7 miles, it is a long walk...but it really is best way to see the decorations.

We will be walking at a leisurely pace, stopping at points of interest to allow time for photographs and restroom breaks. Note this is not a narrated tour or pub crawl.
Dress for the weather! Wear comfortable, broken-in walking shoes and bring a snack, water, and perhaps a hot beverage to stay warm. Flashlights are nice to have, but are not required, as there are street lights throughout the walk. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.

Saturday nights in Carytown can be busy, so PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR PARKING. On-street parking is available on and around Cary St. There is a parking deck behind the Byrd Theatre and a large surface lot west of Sheppard St. behind Plan 9. Observe posted signs.

Happy Holidays!
