Join UnlockingRVA and Venture Richmond Events as we introduce you to a new event in anticipation of the 31st Annual 2nd Street Festival!

Jackson Ward on Wheels is a trolley tour of the historic Jackson Ward neighborhood with five stops along the way at popular restaurants for passengers to experience tastes of Jackson Ward. On the trolley tour, passengers will also enjoy a narration about historic sites given by Gary Flowers of the Historic Jackson Ward Association. The trolley tour culminates at the 2nd Street Festival’s esteemed poster unveiling reception at the Hippodrome Theater, that celebrates a local artist and their original artwork commissioned for the 2019 2nd Street Festival. This reception includes live music by DJ Lonnie B.
Jackson Ward on Wheels allows passengers to learn more about the neighborhood in a hands-on way, enjoying both the historic aspects and everything new that it has to offer. Restaurant stops include Salt & Forge, Soul Taco, Max's on Broad, Fatty Smokes and Urban Hang Suite. There are only 50 tour tickets available, so be sure to get yours when they go on sale August 14! Proceeds from Jackson Ward on Wheels benefit the 2nd Street Festival.
