Wrapped Necklace Workshop with Kristin Hott

Join us at Quirk Gallery in Richmond for a "craftshop" experience, where meditation and adornment intertwine. Spend two relaxing hours inside a rainbow, as you wrap a woven rope necklace in embroidery floss, breathing in calm and exhaling joy. Inspired by indigenous American Heishi bead and vulcanite trade bead necklaces of Nigeria, these lightweight personalized beauties will bring color and pop to whatever you're wearing. Get all of the tips and tricks from workshop leader, Kristin Hott. She'll inspire you with examples and encouragement.

All materials included. $30 per person. Please call (804) 340-6036 to reserve and prepay for your preferred date---either Sunday, September 12 from 2-4 pm or Sunday, September 19 from 2-4 pm. Workshop fees are non-refundable. Only 12 spots are available for each class. Workshop participants will be distanced as much as possible and all participants are asked to wear a mask.
