Southern Soul Music Festival

Richmond's Annual Southern Soul Music Festival is back in 2023 featuring Tucka, Pokey Bear, King George, T. K. Soul, Karen Wolf, Mr. Campbell, Fat Daddy and Lamar Brace. Southern Soul originated from a combination of blues, country, and early rock and roll, with a strong gospel influence. Popular in the 1960s and 1970s, Southern Soul has made a huge resurgence in the last few years.
