Join The Broad and The Library of Virginia for a morning of monumental womxn as Sandra Treadway, Librarian of Virginia, takes you through the history and future of the Virginia Women's Monument. Sandy will take you through this fascinating project - how it got started, how the women featured on the monument were selected, and why it matters in an age of increased scrutiny of who we monumentalize. Coffee and pastries will be provided. Free for Broads / $10 for guests
